Lindsey Simcox

Career Summary: Lindsey’s background is in physics, graduating from University of Kent (BSc) and the University of Surrey (MSc). Lindsey first started work at Aurora as part of her MSc project investigating methods for providing effective training for those working with ionising radiation. After the project ended she was offered a full time role as a trainee RPA/LPA.

Lindsey is also highly involved in Aurora’s expertise concerning Non-Ionising Radiation (NIR), primarily lasers.

Career Aspirations: Lindsey aims to obtain accredited RPA and LPA status within the next year.

Involvement in SRP: Lindsey was awarded the SRP Scholarship in 2009 to study at the University of Surrey and has been a SRP member ever since. She joined the RGG working group in 2012.
