Submit an Abstract
The oral abstract deadline has now passed.
The poster abstract deadline is Monday 24 February 2025.
When submitting your abstract, please make sure that you select whether you'd like to be entered into either the Jack Martin Award for best oral presentation, the Philip Nicholson Award for best poster or the Rising Generation Group Award which is aimed at those within the first 10 years of their career. Entering into one of these awards means that you could be in with a chance of winning a cash prize!
Abstract Guidance
When submitting your abstract, you should aim for two to three paragraphs of around five lines that details what topic you would like to talk about, how it relates to radiation protection and any key outcomes; it is recommended to not go over five paragraphs. If it is research, it would be good to know the outline of the process and any results found. When the Programme Committee is looking at the abstracts, they are wanting to know what you will be talking about during your presentation, therefore please describe as much as you can about your talk/poster. Please also write a few lines about yourself and the authors to show your knowledge and understanding within radiation protection, along with which topic area you are submitting under (these topics can be found in the form below). Please note the talks/posters should not be a marketing or sales pitch.
All topics will be considered but we particularly welcome submissions in the following areas:
- Future Technologies
- Sustainability
- NORM
- Non-Ionising
- Future Regulations
- Skills
