Last week was the Control of Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) at Work Regulations event.  As of 1st July 2016 new EMF regulations came into force in the UK. The aim of the workshop was to introduce the requirements of the new Regulations.  There were also presentations regarding how practical and theoretical assessments of EMF exposure can be carried out which will be made available on SRP's website to members only soon.  Delegates also heard from speakers who were willing to share their experiences of managing EMF sources in various sectors, such as medical, defence, industrial, and academia.  Further details on the requirements of the The Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016 can be found here.
