It's First Place for UK's Adam Jones in Young Professionals Competition!!

The results have just been announced in Cape Town of the IRPA Young Professionals Award and we're delighted to announce that the UK entrant Adam Jones has won first prize. Many congratulations to Adam who is from Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust (UK) and Western Sydney Local Health District (Australia). His paper, entitled 'Optimisation of image quality and patient dose in radiographs of paediatric extremities using direct digital radiography', was presented to delegates on Monday.
Second place was awarded to Teun van Dillen (Netherlands) for the paper entitled 'SUDOQU - a new methodology for deriving criteria for radiological surface contamination'.
Third place was awarded to Angelo Infantino (Italy) for the paper entitled 'Advanced aspect of radiological protection in the use of particle accelerators in the medical field'.
