SRP, with its patron Lord Carlile, will use its influence as the UK’s leading radiological protection society to help ensure suitable alternative arrangements are put in place to maintain safety standards following the withdrawal from Euratom. Options include becoming an associate country (such as Switzerland) or a third party country (such as the US), either of which we would support. We think it is important that SRP makes its voice heard on this issue and that we are measured in our response.
