Last weekend a group of SRP members took to the stage at the Oxford Playhouse for a performance of our unique Science of Superheroes show – in front of an audience of excited primary age children and their parents (nearly 300 in total).  It was part of the Oxford Science and Ideas Festival and the show has been designed to raise awareness of the principles of radiation protection and how the profession works hard to keep everyone as safe as possible.  There were guest appearances from the Incredible Hulk, Superman, Spider-Gwen and Captain America – and of course SRP’s very own superhero, our Bee.  Given the really positive audience reaction we are very hopeful that this will become a regular part of our Outreach programme.
