A few SRP members arrived in Hull a little before everyone else…..with the very important mission of putting on our Science of Superheroes Show for local families.  It took place on Sunday 11 May at a local school and attracted so much interest that we ran it twice - reaching a total audience of over 400 parents and primary age children.  Huge thanks to our fabulous main presenters Laura Gerla (UKHSA), Steph Bloomer (Mottmac), Austen Short (Sellafield) and Will Robinson (Westinghouse).  We’d also like to particularly thank Cameron Jeffries and Jim Hondros (attending the conference from Australia) for their additional supporting roles: Cameron as Captain America (Australia!) and Jim with crowd control.  Our regular trio of stunt actors joined us again as Hulk, Superman and Spider-Gwen and their acrobatics are really amazing to see.  The show was extremely well received and we are aiming to run it again in Liverpool next year as part of our outreach commitment.  See the montage of photos from the shows.
