SRP President Mike Wood was a guest at last week’s Annual Conference of the Association of University Radiation Protection Officers (AURPO) and it provided the perfect opportunity for him to present certificates to two SRP prize winners from SRP's May Annual Conference: 

• Oli Walker (Onephoton) who won the 2025 Best Rising Generations Group Presentation for his talk entitled ‘RADAN Consent – Taking a HASS Transport Duty Holder Through the Process’.
• Rae Denham (Loughborough University) who won the Young Professionals Award for her presentation entitled ‘An Investigation into Radioactive Needlestick Injuries’.  Rae will now go on to represent the UK in the IRPA Young Professionals Award competition which will take place at the European IRPA Congress in Liverpool next June.
