Only 6 months to go until the largest RP event in the world.   IRPA14 in Cape Town next May will be particularly special as it will mark the 50th anniversary of IRPA.  Last week, Claire-Louise Chapple, SRP’s representative on the IRPA14 Programme Committee flew out to South Africa for an important programme planning meeting. Claire-Louise said;  "The committee is very pleased at the high quality and number of submitted abstracts, and we are excited about the scientific programme that is now coming together. The social programme and, in particular the IRPA birthday celebrations will also be something to look forward to. Cape Town is a beautiful city, and also surprisingly inexpensive when visiting from the UK – I would encourage SRP members to make every effort to attend the Congress."  SRP Honorary Fellow, Jack Valentine, is Chairman of the Programme Committee.
