Meeting of SRP and its Partner Societies
News Story from 9th May 2019
A meeting took place yesterday in London of SRP and the Presidents and their nominees of our Partner Societies (Association of University Radiation Protection Officers, British Institute of Radiology, British Nuclear Medicine Society, Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine, Royal College of Radiologists, Society and College of Radiographers). The Constitution of the International Radiation Protection Association (IRPA) states that IRPA consists of individual members grouped in national or regional societies known as Associate Societies. It only permits one per country and, for the UK, SRP is the Associate Society. In order to ensure that interested members of our Partner Societies have a direct link to IRPA, SRP has an Affiliate member category to facilitate IRPA individual membership.
