New SRP President

Pete Bryant became SRP President at yesterday afternoon's AGM. He takes over from Amber Bannon and will be President for the next two years. Pete has worked in Radiation Protection and nuclear safety for over ten years including holding technical leadership roles for a number of nuclear licensees. He currently works for EDF Energy as their Decommissioning and Emergency Preparedness Lead. He represented the UK on the IRPA14 Congress New Build Panel (in 2016) and on the Risk Communication Panel at the 5th European IRPA Congress in The Hague in 2018.
Pete is an Industry Lecturer in Radiation Protection and Radiation Waste at the Universities of Bath and Surrey and has published papers in the areas of dose assessments, ALARA, environmental Radiation Protection and radiation safety culture.
